Playground Roundabouts in Almaty
We manufacture children’s roundabouts for courtyards, parks and playgrounds: classic seated, platform, and low models for the younger age group. Sealed bearing unit, limited rotation speed.
What we manufacture
Seated
A classic structure with seats and handrails.
Platform
A flat disc with a central handrail — stand or step on and off.
For the younger group
Low models with a limited rotation speed.
Themed
Styled to match the playground’s overall theme.
Types of roundabouts
A classic roundabout with seats and handrails is the familiar choice for courtyard playgrounds: children sit in a circle and spin by pushing off with their feet. A platform roundabout is a flat disc with a central handrail — you can stand, sit or step on and off, which makes it more accessible for children with limited mobility.
Low roundabouts for the younger group have minimal ground clearance and a limited rotation speed — the construction itself prevents spinning it dangerously fast.
Safety and servicing
The key part of a roundabout is the bearing unit. It must be sealed — an open unit clogs with sand and dust, starts binding, and fails quickly. The second critical point is the gap between the rotating platform and the ground: it’s calculated to prevent a foot from getting caught underneath.
The safety zone around a roundabout is at least 2 meters around the full perimeter, and shock-absorbing surfacing is mandatory. Benches and fencing should not fall inside that zone.
