What we manufacture

With a backrest

Classic park benches for squares and rest areas, 1.5–2 m long.

Without a backrest

Compact benches for transit zones, sports and play areas.

With armrests

More comfortable for older users, also discourage lying down on the bench.

On concrete supports

Vandal-resistant — the weight of the structure prevents it from being moved.

Park sofas

Deeper seating, wide armrests, an accent shape.

Modular & curved

Sections that assemble into arcs and closed layouts around trees and flower beds.

Types of street benches

Benches vary along three lines: whether they have a backrest, the type of supports, and the seat material. Models with a backrest are meant for longer rest — they go in squares, parks and waiting areas. Backless benches are more compact and cheaper, suited to transit zones, sports grounds and spots where people don’t linger.

Supports come in metal (light, anchor-mounted), concrete (vandal-resistant, virtually impossible to move) and combined. For courtyards and vandalism-prone locations, concrete or a rigid anchor to a slab makes more sense — an unfixed metal bench tends to get moved around or taken.

Park sofas are a separate category: deeper seating, wide armrests, sometimes a curved or modular shape. They’re used as an accent piece in public spaces.

Materials: what suits Almaty’s climate

The frame is metal with anti-corrosion preparation and a polymer powder coating. Powder finish lasts for years without fading or peeling in sheets, unlike ordinary enamel that needs redoing every season.

Seats are larch or pine with an antiseptic and weather-resistant finish, or WPC decking. Wood looks warmer and feels nicer to the touch but needs refinishing roughly every 2–3 years. WPC costs more upfront but doesn’t crack, doesn’t need annual treatment and doesn’t fade to gray.

For temperature swings and heavy precipitation, the wood species matters less than preparation quality: end grain should be sealed, fasteners galvanized and recessed, and boards spaced to let water drain. These are exactly the details cheap benches skip — and exactly why they fall apart within a couple of seasons.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a street bench cost?
Cost depends on length, support type and seat material: a backless bench on metal supports costs less than a park model with a backrest on concrete supports. Ordering a batch lowers the per-unit price. Send us the quantity and type you need and we’ll prepare a quote.
Which is better — wood or WPC?
Wood is warmer to the touch and cheaper upfront but needs refinishing every 2–3 years. WPC costs more but doesn’t crack, doesn’t fade and needs no annual treatment. For sites without regular maintenance, we usually recommend WPC.
How is a bench fixed to the ground?
Two options: anchoring to a concrete base or paving slab, or setting footings in concrete underground. The second method is more secure for vandalism-prone locations.
Can a bench be made in a custom length or shape?
Yes. We manufacture in-house, so we can change length, height, radius, add armrests, or assemble modular layouts around trees and flower beds.
Are there discounts for bulk orders?
Yes, ordering several units lowers the per-unit price — for HOAs, developers and city administrations we quote based on batch volume.
Can you add a logo or a brand color?
Yes. Powder coating is done in any RAL color, and we can also add nameplates and branding — a common request from developers for residential sites.
